NEW DATE: MARCH 29TH 2023
Outdoor Recreation Northern Ireland is excited to announce our next dog-themed webinar in a series of training sessions with Stephen Jenkinson (Director of Access and Countryside Management) who has over two decades of experience in this area across the UK and Ireland.
We are excited to bring along additional speaker Jonathan Woods from Hampshire County Council to offer practical examples of how it looks in the real-world scenario. This theory in practice will support the messages from Stephen. Jonathan will consider the Petiquette, Bird Aware and the potential impact of commercial dog walkers.
This is a brand-new session, so you do not have to have attended earlier dogs’ webinars in the series.
Previous sessions have covered managing dogs in the outdoors from a broader outlook and fouling but we are delighted to take another look into the world of dogs in the outdoors and further explore the relationship with wildlife and livestock.

General safety is important to consider with both wildlife and livestock and these messages will be woven throughout the session and working parallels with avoiding conflict for both dog owner and other animals.
There will be a small cost of £19 to attend this webinar to cover speaker fees. Please book now to avoid disappointment.
