Davagh Forest, Cookstown

CAAN is working in partnership with Cookstown District Council, to deliver approximately 11.5kms of multi purpose trails within Davagh Forest. The trails will be suitable for walking and mountain biking. A concept plan was completed by Dafydd Davis in 2009 and this will form the basis of the new trail system. Architrail led by Phil Saxena, completed the micro design in 2011. Funding to built the trails has been secured.

RPS Consulting has been appointed as the Consultant Project Manager. Cookstown Council will be publicly advertising for Contractors to complete the work in April 2012 with a view to works commencing in June 2012.

It is hoped that all works will be completed on site by November 2012.
